Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 June 2026 · Effective: 11 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Gold Knight International Pte Ltd (UEN 200301512M) ("Transacted.sg", "we", "us", "our"), the operator of the website transacted.sg, collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"). Please read it together with our Terms of Use.

1. About us and this policy

Transacted.sg is a Singapore property-intelligence platform. We provide free research tools for home owners, buyers and investors, a merit-based directory and leaderboard of property agents built from public records, and a paid subscription ("Agent Pro") for property agents.

By using transacted.sg, creating an account, or submitting your details through any of our forms or tools, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy and, where consent is required, that you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data as described here.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect only the personal data we need to operate the service. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:

We do not knowingly collect sensitive data (such as NRIC numbers, financial account numbers or health information), and we ask that you do not send such information to us.

3. How we collect your personal data

4. Purposes for which we use your personal data

5. Disclosure to property agents — and your consent

We share your contact details with a property agent only where you have expressly opted in at the point you submit the form — for example by ticking the consent box on a "connect me with an agent" request. We do not treat your mere use of the website, or acceptance of these policies, as consent to share your contact details with an agent.

Where you do opt in:

You may withdraw this consent at any time (see section 11).

6. Information about property agents

Our agent leaderboard and agent profile pages are compiled from publicly available official records, including transaction records published by the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) and Singapore Government open data. This information is presented on a merit basis only — rankings reflect recorded transaction activity and are never sold or paid for.

Because this information is drawn from publicly available official records, we are permitted under the PDPA to collect, use and display it without each agent's consent (the publicly available data exception). If you are a property agent, you may contact us at any time using the details in section 13 to claim your profile or to request correction of any information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete — we will review your request and, where the information is shown to be inaccurate, correct it in accordance with the PDPA. Because these profiles present publicly available, public-interest information, we do not de-list or remove profiles simply on request; we will remove or restrict information only where we are required to do so by law. We provide this information as a public-interest service and do not warrant its completeness or accuracy (see our Terms of Use).

7. Disclosure to service providers

We use a small number of trusted third-party providers to run the service. They process personal data only on our instructions and only as needed to provide their service to us:

ProviderPurpose
SupabaseDatabase and account authentication (hosted in the Asia-Pacific (Sydney) region)
NetlifyWebsite hosting and content delivery
StripePayment processing for Agent Pro subscriptions
Resend (transactional email)Sending the transaction alert emails you request
Google AnalyticsUnderstanding how the site is used, so we can improve it

We may also disclose personal data where required to comply with the law, a court order or a request from a regulator; to enforce our Terms of Use or protect our rights, safety and property or those of others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition or transfer of our business, in which case we will require the recipient to protect your data consistently with this policy.

8. Transfer of personal data outside Singapore

Some of our providers store or process data outside Singapore (for example, Supabase in Australia, and Stripe, Netlify, Resend and Google partly in the United States). Where we transfer personal data overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA, including through the contractual terms our providers are bound by.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

We keep cookies to a minimum. The site uses:

We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural-advertising cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings (though disabling essential cookies may stop parts of the site working). For more on how Google handles data, see policies.google.com/privacy.

10. How long we keep your personal data

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above, or as required by law. Account data is kept while your account is active; lead and alert data is kept for as long as needed to act on it and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping; consent records are kept to evidence the consent given. When data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymise it.

11. Your rights, and withdrawing consent

Under the PDPA you may, subject to certain exceptions:

To withdraw the consent you gave to be contacted by an agent, to stop transaction alerts, or to close your account and delete your data, contact us using the details in section 13 (you can also unsubscribe directly from any alert email). If you withdraw consent, we may be unable to continue providing parts of the service that depend on that data, and we will tell you the likely consequences before acting on your request. For clarity, closing your account does not remove agent-profile information that is compiled from publicly available official records, which is governed by section 6.

12. Protecting your personal data

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use or disclosure, including access controls on our database, encryption of data in transit, and restricting staff access to what is necessary. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your data we cannot guarantee absolute security.
